that collaborative early intervention nurtures growth, transformation, and a bright future
I live in a quiet country town with my husband, Shaun, and our three wonderful children. I've embraced life to the fullest, traveling and passionately excelling in my career. My zest for life and passion for my career has taken me to numerous countries, where I've learned invaluable lessons that connect back to my work.
People often ask me what inspired my journey to become an occupational therapist, and my reasons are anything but conventional. I have a love for research, a knack for thinking outside the box, and a genuine passion for learning. After graduating in Occupational Therapy with Honours in research, I co-authored an academic paper in the Journal of Forensic Psychiatry. This challenging field resonated deeply with me, highlighting the crucial role of early intervention and therapy. It was here that OTB Therapy was born. My mission is to help children become the best version of themselves from the very start.
Lets sow the seeds of change & think outside the box.
We can help with many areas of your child's development, including thinking, emotions, behaviour, social interactions and play. We will focus on your child's strengths and work in a family-centred way.
Here at OTB Therapy we can help identify how your child is processing and responding to sensory information. Once the areas of difficulty are identified, we can implement strategies to address them.
Occupational therapy can help to improve various areas of daily living, including self-care activities (like dressing, toileting, eating, gross motor skills and fine motor skills), and so much more! We will help address unique challenges and offer techniques to promote independence and confidence in daily life.
Creating welcoming spaces where kids can feel like superheroes—safe, supported, and ready to conquer the world!
